Out front of the bar On any given day, this parking lot is fender to fender motorcycles. We have additional parking in the back, even covered bike parking in case of rain, sleet, or snow. Large patio out back for bands, and outside grill for our steak nights and bike night cooking. We have bands every Sunday from 2-6 pm. most Saturdays from 8-midnight, and every Thurday Nite for our (getting) famous Bike Nite! On Friday nites we enjoy the music of Mike Sweet on the patio while enjoying 1" thick rib eye steak dinners. The Rooster also puts on great poker runs from time to time, and benefits for those less fortunate than us. This bar hosts some of the best people in Jacksonville !!! Thanks to all my customers for making The Rooster what it is today. |

Man, just look at that picture and tell me I did not have the weekend from hell !! Friday nite got rained out, I sure don't understand why the cooks did not want to stand out in the thunder, lighting and rain to cook everyone's steaks, do you ? Saturday Lisa and I put up half assed ceiling on the patio, with a little help from Steve. You can tell it was put up by amateur's !! All the work and time everyone has put into this patio to please the neighbor from hell has not made much differance in the sound going into the back. I am at my wits end as how to fix this...but again, I am so tired of everyone coming up to me and telling me I am doing it wrong, or they could have done better, or all I need to do is put up a cememt wall, etc. If you got the time and money to do it, don't tell me, just do it !!! Sunday was the weird day for sure. Every couple that was there (or so it seemed) were in battle mode. I felt like I was in the Twilight Zone, or Scottie had beamed me up to another planet !! Only thing missing was someone turning into a werewolf and howling at the full moon. Send an email |
