Peterson's Harley-Davidson 29th. Annual Key West Poker Run
September 14-16,2001

The poker run is a five card stud poker hand played by stopping at five differant stops on the way to Key West and drawing a card at each stop.
The Key West Poker Run began 29 years ago as a way to promote the image and sport of motorcycling and as a way to bolster tourism in Key West during the slow summer months. The original run consisted of 46 motorcyclists, the majority of whom were from Phil Peterson's local motorcycle clubs in Miami. Over the years, the run has gorwn to well over 10,000 participants and has become a major charity fundraining event, donating ,000 last year to the Diabetes Research Institute and the Keys Rotary Club.
